Bali Challenge

For the active traveler, this tour includes ricefield and jungle trekking, climbing a volcano, diving and river rafting. For those with less time, an abbreviated version of the itinerary can be arranged.

Day 1 Transfer from the airport to Mimpi Tulamben Hotel in Tulamben. Three nights accommodations.

Day 2 Morning coral wall and drop-off dive. Afternoon at leisure. At night you'll dive the Liberty shipwreck and Mimpi Coral Reef.

Day 3 Two morning dives of your choice (in the Tulamben area). Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 Transfer from Tulamben to your hotel in Ubud. Sightseeing along the way includes the Palace of Karangasem, Tirta Gangga Water Garden, Tenganan, Kusamba and the Bat Cave temple. In the evening attend a performance of the primitive kecak dance. Three nights accommodations at Komaneka Resort or Ulun Ubud.

Day 5 Today's adventure is a rafting excursion on the Ayung River plus one hour elephant ride, including lunch.

Day 6 Depart your hotel in the very early morning hours, to climb Mt. Batur volcano. Reach the summit in time to see the sunrise (weather permitting). Climb back down the volcano and drive to the nearby hot springs for a soak. Return to Ubud. Balance of day at leisure.

Day 7 Transfer to Taman Sari Cottages at Pemuteran in the far northwest of Bali. Prior to reaching Pemuteran, you'll take a guided ricefield trek. Stops will also be made at Lake Beratan, the flower and spice market, Munduk waterfall and Pulaki monkey temple. Three nights accommodations.

Day 8 Today you will have two dives at Menjangan Island, including lunch.

Day 9 This morning you'll take a guided hike in Barat National Park. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 10 Transfer to the airport or any other area of Bali.
